What is acacia honey?
Acacia honey is the most popular among all. As its name suggests, it is extracted from acacia, and its colour is yellow or white, depending on the type of tree. Our honey is from yellow acacia tree with a dark yellow colour and full nature. Unlike most types, acacia honey is characterised by its mild taste and a lack of bitterness that is present in other bee products. The main property that makes it unique is its ability to remain in a liquid state for a long time.
What makes acacia honey different?
Our honey is harvested in 2017 and a reliable indicator for its natural origin is its crystallised form. Acacia honey is rich in fructose, which makes it a desirable and recommended product for children and people who have diabetes. It is taken very quickly by various organisms and does not cause adverse allergic reactions which are specific to some types of natural food products. The content of fructose in it is above 40%, and sucrose – almost 36%. These indexes suggest acacia honey is a sufficient product for people who tend to consume more healthy sugars, particularly in fruits or natural products. This type of honey tends to be easily absorbed by the body due to its high levels of fructose.
Acacia honey has many medical properties making it widely used as a natural cure. According to studies,1-2 weeks of consuming 50g of honey a day will boost the levels of haemoglobin, as well as the overall performance of the organism. Acacia honey is used in the treatment of certain eye diseases, as well as problems associated with eczema and other skin disorders. Precise doses of honey can help with insomnia, gastrointestinal tract, as well as a complete purification of the body.
Acacia honey is not recommended for young children and is unsuitable for infants under 12 months.
